Squeak is believed to be a Border Collie cross and based on condition is thought to be about 8 years of age. This lovely lady was taken in to rescue from the council pound after being found as a stray, but unfortunately it took a long time for a foster home to come forward, so she spent some time in commercial kennels.
Because she was found as a stray her name and commands weren’t known so she has had to start from scratch but she does appear to know some basics, once you’ve got her attention.

She adores people and is very sweet and attentive and she loves playing one-on-one with pretty much any toy, but a good old tennis ball is her favourite.
She likes her walks and exploring and walks nicely on a short lead but is easily distracted on a longline, which can lead to some pulling. She is house-trained and would be ok with teenage children, but she is untested with cats and young children.
When out and about she is happy and friendly around well-mannered dogs. In enclosed places though she has reacted to other dogs warning signs with some aggression, so she is best suited to a home where she would be an only dog.
Squeak would be best suited to a moderately active, mature home where she could get frequent short walks, then play for a bit, cuddle for a bit and nap for a bit.
Squeak is spayed and vaccinated and currently living in a foster home in the East Midlands, but can be transported throughout the UK. To see more of Squeak in her foster home, visit her Facebook page
