Ianto is probabably a Toy Poodle cross Bichon Frise. He was one year old in March. He is looking for a forever home. Ianto was destined to be a stud dog, but plans changed when he witheld a vital part of his anatomy, and engineered his escape into the big wide world. He is great with other dogs. Fascinated and very curious, though a little hesitant with new people, so no young children, though he exhibits friendly curiosity towards them. He has been fine with the cats he has met.
Ianto is finding his feet and now exhibiting all the normal puppy behaviours he has not been able to enjoy up until his escape from hell. He is full of fun once he feels secure. He is getting better and better with his house training, but having had his grooming seriously neglected, and lived in filthy conditions, this is a work in progress. He travels happily in the car, and loves to enjoy visiting new places to explore. He behaves beautifully in the local dog friendly cafe. He has learnt to walk well on lead, but still needs occasional encouragement. He is not confident enough to be off lead unless in a totally secure area. His recall is good in a known environment, but he is very easily distracted so will need to be walked on a long line for sometime yet.
