Peevey is a delightful little Parson Jack Russell is 7 years old. We dont know much of his history, his last owner simply left him with us, and vanished. Peevey loves people and once he has discovered you are his friend, he wants all the fuss and attention going. He really is very loving and affectionate. As far as we know he hasn’t lived with children. So will not consider applicants with children. He mixes well with other dogs of all sizes and is currently living with many others. He is not good with cats and gets very excited if he sees one, and prepare to chase, so needs a cat free home.

Peevey lives indoors, and is clean and not destructive. He loves to sit on a lap and watch sports on TV. He is very keen to please & quick to learn new skills. Peevey travels well in the car and walks well on lead, and once he has built up a bond with his handlers, and has developed a well established relationships with them, is good off lead – in safe locations. However he does want to chase ‘wheels’ so care must be taken around cyclists and perhaps joggers too.

Peevey’s new family ideally need to live in a rural situation with woodlands, fields, moorland and beaches to walk him in. They will be sensitive and understanding about his unknown past, and experiences, and prepared to gently help him adapt to their lifestyle. He is living with Mick in the farmhouse at the Sanctuary, near Kidwelly, South Wales, so potential adopters must be prepared to travel to meet / collect him once they have been through our adoption procedure.
