Gomez – 5 month old male Labrador Cross

Gomez is a 5 month old male Labrador cross puppy (shoulder height: 40 cm, weight: 13 kg) who’s not had the best start in life. He was found wandering the streets in rural Hungary then someone gave him a ’home’ (probably a corner in the garden) but soon he was out in the streets again as he was digging the garden, we will not comment on this! He was lucky to have been found by his rescuers early November or his story could have ended very differently. He is probably going to become a Labrador size once fully grown but this cannot be guaranteed as his parents are unknown.

Gomez is a very happy active puppy who is interested in everything and is happily discovering the world around him with a zest! He is full of life and good intentions, friendly and loving with everyone, fluffy and cheeky like a healthy puppy should be. He has a lot to learn but he’s eager to please you. He loves cuddles and communicates nicely with humans. He is friendly with his doggie mates and loves running around and playing with them for most part of the day. He has also been cat tested and he was absolutely friendly with the cat he was introduced to, we just think he may be a bit too much for the poor cat with his willingness to play all the time.  He currently shares a foster home with a few other puppies.

He is not walked on the lead regularly so he will need to be trained to walk nicely. His house training will also need to be continued in his new family. His future family should be aware with all the pleasure and pain that comes with adopting a puppy and love this little clown unconditionally with all his clumsyness and cuteness and happy character! He is still very young and it is down to his family to make him grow into a happy and well behaved adult dog who they can be proud of.

Gomez would be best suited with a family without or with children over 14 where he is not left alone for long periods of time and there is time for his training. His future family will need to continue his socialization and take him to training classes if possible. He could live with a friendly doggie mate to keep him company as he loves to play and is very sociable, but he would equally be happy living with his humans to care for him only.

Gomez is currently in Hungary and can travel to the UK as soon as the right family is found for him. He comes fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, flea and tick treated, with an EU passport and DEFRA approved paperwork. The right owner will need to agree to have him neutered once fully grown. Adoption is subject to Home Check and Adoption fee.
