This gorgeous Eros is a 2 year old mle Dachshund Cross. He came to us recently, after surviving his ordeal in a pound in Spain. We saw Eros, so in need of love and care, and just couldn’t leave him behind. He was moved to a boarding kennel we work with in Northern Spain and here he has flourished.
Eros came to us as a very timid, shut down boy, who didn’t know who he should trust and had probably forgotten what it felt like to be cared for and safe.
At the boarding kennel he has blossomed into the most gorgeous dog – he is clean, friendly and has recently even started to play. He loves gentle attention and is a very lovely soul.
He lives with other dogs at the moment, so we feel he could join a home with resident dogs of similar age and energy level, but this isn’t a requirement as far as he has the option to interact and play with other dogs when he is outside, as he is a very friendly boy. He is absolutely gorgeous, and whoever is lucky enough to adopt this sweetheart will be taking home a treasure!
We cannot test Eros around cats and he will need an adult only home as we can’t test him around children. Please also bear in mind that we know nothing of his past, training or experiences, so we can’t know whether he will be used to life in a home. He will need training and time to adapt and settle, especially after a long journey to the UK.
Eros is ready and looking forward to move to his forever home. He can be rehomed in England and Wales, but not Scotland.
