Edvyn is an 8 month old male Cross-Breed. He is a medium size Cross-Breed puppy (shoulder height: 48 cm, weight: appr. 18 kg). He was rescued from a public pound at 3 months of age and has lived in a shelter since.
Edvyn is a lovely boy, very affectionate, loves humans and always ready for a cuddle. He is very sociable with dogs and lives peacefully with a number of dogs in the shelter. He also spent time around cats without any issues.
He currently lives outdoors hence we are unsure about his house training needs. His new family will need to train him to walk nicely on and off the lead and get him used to regular walks. He travels nicely in the car.
Edvyn would be best suited for a family without or with children over 10 where he is not left alone for long periods of time and there’s time for his training. He will need time to settle in his new home and to get familiar with the world outside the shelter.
His socialisation and training will need to be continued. He is a loving boy who wants to be part of family life and be treated a family member. He could live with a friendly, well balanced dog or a cat, but he may as well be happy living with his humans to care for him only.
As all rescue dogs, he will need time, patience, love and commitment from his adopting family. Experience with rescue dogs is essential. No first time owners please.
Edvyn is currently in Hungary and can travel to the UK as soon as the right family is found for him. He comes fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea and tick treated, with an EU passport and DEFRA approved paperwork.
